Young Officer’s Story On Refusal To Be Deployed
There is a story over at Kevin Sites “Hot Zone” about a young officer who is refusing to be deployed to Iraq.
His name is Ehren Watada and will be in court Thursday on several charges that apparently stem from his refusal to deploy to Iraq, citing the war is “illegal.” An official court martial is expected against the lieutenant for Feb. 5.
I suggest you read the article about a name that, if not suppressed by mainstream media, might become a household word. He’s looking at six years in jail for his beliefs.
What say you?

I say he’s a patriot, and I will share this story, for sure.
“suppressed by mainstream media”? do you really believe that?
Regarding potential jail time, he probably should have considered his weakness for Liberal propaganda before he signed up for military service.
It’s not a crime to disagree with a Liberal.
I’ve been following his case.. & send good thoughts to him & his family.

Since it it required to render service to the country, he must go. but to consider his refusal , he might become a problem in the field ( iraq) and might endanger other lives.so it is the discretion of the Army whether to send , prosecute or understand. If ever something happens bad there and his decision is affected due to his previous refusal we can trace the problem back home. since we already knew of the precedent . why prosecute since his actions has saved more american lives…me im a filipino but i believe he made it clear his decision and being honest must be considered rather than forced. whatever, its just my comment since im from another country, philippines.
