Some Truths
Here are some truths about my evening out last night.
- The legendary steps at the Sportsman Grille are oddly frightening when one is having to resort to using one’s stunt liver.
- The smoozing at the TPA legislative reception last night eventually made me lose oxygen to my head. I finally just had to go sit down and watch from a safe distance.
- I never really have understood why one of my publishers has to remind me in public situations that he’s my boss. I sort of knew that. His name has signed my check for three years. This seems to be an annual ritual we have to go through. I need to start putting this shocking information in my agenda for this yearly reminder. And it really wasn’t any context to another discussion. Odd.
- Bloggers are cool as are newly-bearded doctors of dogs.
- I probably talk entirely too much at times, fine friends. Sorry ’bout that.
- Squirrel Queen made it. Woot.

oh, cool…who all showed up? I hate it that I couldn’t be there!
I’m going to try to be there Saturday for the Smiffter’s lunch. Hope to see you and SQ then!
I could’ve been there, if it were the one on 21st — it’s literally two blocks from my office.
I’d have needed a ride home at that time, though. The buses don’t go far enough. And I didn’t know which SG you meant!
Then, I’d tell you all about the weekend’s and early week’s festivities… IN PERSON!
