An E-Mail From The Rep
Julie Patchouli wrote an e-mail to The Rep Stacey Campfield.
Campfield wrote back.
I don’t know, call me nuts, but I’m really glad that my representative, Mark Maddox and Sen. Roy Herron don’t treat me this way. They have always been kind and generous even if they don’t vote the way that I want them to, but they always are, at least, civil to me. I’m at least allowed a dialogue.
Julie put the exchange up in it’s entirety.
It’s her story to tell. Go give it a gander.
He should really use spellcheck when he’s responding to constituents, but yeah, that’s just me being snarky.

Blogging AND e-mailing himself right out of office, it would appear.
It’s bad enough how he responds to others who aren’t his constituents, but not to take a little more care with responding to his own constituents… oh wait, for a second there I forgot about who I was talking about.
Doesn’t this guy know the power behind the Tenn. blogsphere??? Well, I suppose if you aren’t smart enough to spell check, you wouldn’t be smart enough to know what’s going on around you.
Somebody give this guy a hook.

What a moron.. someone needs to publish this statewide. Let people see the noncompoops that are being elected.
Nothing but schoolyard bullies.
I just posted part of this at NIT but thought I’d postscript it here as well.
Save for some local school board or city council type position (and I kind of doubt even that), I don’t believe Campfield has a hope in Hades of re-election to any important public political office ever again. Between the abortion bill and his blogging & e-mail behavior (mainly the latter), I think he’s typed his way right out of politics.
I’ve even had a couple of major PRO-LIFERS tell me they think his abortion bill is ridiculous.
He would make a good case study for political science majors nationwide of what NOT to do.
I’ve no idea what career field he was in prior to politics but I hope he’s good at whatever he does/did, ‘cos I think he’s gonna need to fall back on it before too long.
