CNN Changes Start Now
I’m gonna sort of miss Miles O’Brien on CNN in the morning. Don’t get me wrong, I like John Roberts just fine, but there was something sort of geeky/fun about O’Brien. His egghead fascination (almost like a fanfic author) when it came to NASA. He was congenial. He seemed, dare I say it, nice.
He said on Friday that the numbers are what mattered and he and Soledad just didn’t have them.
*sigh*
And there will be no Fox and Friends at Chez Coma, so don’t even go there. And when I see Wolf Blitzer (or hear him rather) say “This is the Situation Room” forty-eight times a segment it makes me seriously want to change it to the damned Lifetime channel (is it still called the Lifetime Network? I think I may be out of the loop here. Wait, I don’t care. Yay Newscoma!)
Anyway, goodbye Miles. We hardly knew you.

I had no idea this was happening.
Because I get up so early, it’s local news for me. I prefer WTVF for two reasons:
1) In high def, it’s the only news (local or national) that’s eye candy, and
2) It’s become a drinking game. Everytime someone on the newscast says “hi-def”…
Drink!
