Back In A Muu Muu at Chez Coma
Well, I’m off my volunteering gig at NiT.
I’m linking to my last post over there. Sue me.
Wow.
Very interesting to see things change, and I must say, I was ready to get back over here and beguile you with lovely stories about my dogs (the blind one, the stinky one and Mabel), how I get irritated at network news, how I like the way the ink on my fingertips when I’m reading a newspaper, being not so happy with our government right now and the way it is so kick butt to look up obscure names of B-Movie actors when I’m on the innertubes.
So here is some randomness to send you to bed, last night, I dreamed that people kept giving me houses but wouldn’t let me put furniture in them.
I also dreamed about Mabel winning a contest where she got a strawberry pie and a bald Cabbage Patch Doll as her reward. I have no idea what she won for, but I digress
Yes, let’s delve back into the world of Newscoma.

Dream analysis:
The house dream means that you see opportunities handed to you, but you struggle in vain to make them your own. The houses are opportunities, or chances, or windows that have opened due to circumstance, but something stands in your way that prevents you from personalizing those opportunities and using them to your advantage. Whether the obstacle really is “other people” or is internal is another matter. The furniture is your abilities, your skills, and your creativity.
Ignore what other people tell you, haul that furniture out of storage, and move it wherever you want. If nobody likes the metaphorical zebra-striped rug you put next to the equally metaphorical chrome coffee table with claw feet, then to hell with them. It’s your house, your furniture, and your life. Other people can bite it.
The Mabel thing, on the other hand, is just weird.
Russ,
I’m seriously becoming absolutely smitten with you.
“last night, I dreamed that people kept giving me houses but wouldn’t let me put furniture in them.”
People will offer you opportunities but you will find them unable to deliver the promised rewards. They offer you shells with no fulfillment. Be wary of those that offer that which sounds too good to be true.
‘Coma, the smitten-ness is mutual.
‘coma, are you cheating on me? Are you smitten with someone else????
I’m smitten with many.
Part of my charm.
