I’ve been watching Jekyll on the BBC this evening.
Brilliant. You know its good when it’s sort of funny, sort of a conspiracy show and part horror.
Best line of the night:
Hyde: “Ever kill anybody?”
Secret Agenty Guy : “Not personally. I have (my emphasis) people.”
Hyde: “Your missing out. It’s like sex with a winner.”
Man, that was delivered beautifully. And Hyde had just killed a lion with his teeth.
Wow.
Yeah, I adore BBC Supernatural Saturdays.

It’s great, but I’m not sure there will be a Season 2. Michelle Ryan, who plays his handler, is the star of the new version of “Bionic Woman” on NBC. Unlike American TV, British shows rarely come back once a major cast member leaves.
I’m not sure there will be a Season 2
i don’t think it was conceived as more than just a miniseries over in Britain and a 6-part BBCAmerica series here in the States.
Could very well be right. I checked the IMDB boards. Some say there’s already a season 2 (Something that IMDB’s main charts do not reflect) and others are saying there won’t be one. Hard to say. I love the writer of this show (Steven Moffatt, “Coupling”, “Doctor Who”) and the woman that plays his wife, Gina Bellman (“Coupling”).
The guy that plays Tom Jackman is being considered for Dr. Who.
Who knew?
Not I.
But, he really is good, has swagger and I dig it.
We’re taping it but I haven’t had time to watch it yet. I’ve got high hopes. Thanks for the quick review!
