Well, I had a lost weekend. If I tell you what happened, then you might be in danger.

These things are so delicate, you know, and must be kept in a classified mode.

So, I’m on the flipside of 42 and I survived. This is good. The Preds and the Titans won. Homer kept sending me profane messages on my birthday as I was out of town. She was at a wedding.

I laughed.

I realize this is random, but I’m sunburned and random is about the best I can do.

So here are a list of observations about my lost weekend:

1. Why do some women wear stiletto heels to sporting events?

2.  As I have olfactory senses much higher than the average human, now that I’ve quit smoking I can smell things from a mile away. Some of these things aren’t very pleasant. I’ve taken to random gagging.

3. Could George Steinbrenner be any more annoying? I like Joe Torre, actually. If I was Joe, I’d tell Georgie to “eat it.” 

4. I am still on the “Newscoma Destressification Tour 2007.” For the next couple of weeks, folks are going to just have to deal with it be patient with me.

5.  I’m ready for fall. If I could do anything I wanted to, in about two weeks, I’d go hide out in Asheville, NC and just be one with the fall.

6. Prince Harry, how I could not avoid this headline. “Prince Harry booze-snorting video shame.” Why would anyone snort vodka? This is not an activity that I would want to participate in. See #2 on this list.
