Rep. Mark Maddox, Gov. Phil Bredesen and Sen. Roy Herron yakking at a democratic fundraiser for Herron on Tuesday.

Gov. Bredesen talking to folks.

Remind me that I need to learn how to shoot pictures a little bit better with the new camera. Dang Fluorescent lights.

Chummy democrats.

And, now on to what I did yesterday.

I was greeted with this:

I read to some kids at an afternoon daycare program.

The books were “Oh The Places You Will Go” by Dr. Suess and “One Fish, Two Fish, Green Fish, Blue Fish.” I told them to call me Newscoma. (No, I’m lying.)

They were the coolest kids ever, and I’m going with them next week to a photography exhibit by Robert Nunley, who’s the man in the back. His work is being spotlighted at the museum at UT Martin. I know, the kids are looking at me because yesterday I grew another head and they were intrigued. They were brave though having never seen a person with two heads. (hee.)

And this is Darius, who read to me about Captain Jack Sparrow. And, I think I’m seriously in love with him. Isn’t he awesome?
So there you go. My week in pictures.
