Revisting Wolfram & Hart
For those of us who enjoyed Buffy The Vampire Slayer and Angel, the comic book world is once again whetting our appetites by telling us what happened after television decided to cancel the show and send David Boreanz to Fox to Bones. Jeff Jensen of EW has this:
Hot on the heels of Dark Horse’s acclaimed and best-selling Buffy: Season 8 comic book series written and overseen by Joss Whedon, IDW Publishing now comes out with Angel: After the Fall, a funnybook vision of what that show’s season 6 would have been. Only co-plotted and blessed by Whedon, the comic picks up in the aftermath of the canceled show’s famous cliffhanger/not-a-cliffhanger finale, with the vigilante vamp backed into a corner, determined to fight off the demon hordes unleashed by the diabolical Wolfram & Hart, forever and ever and always.
I haven’t read the comic books as I live in Hooterville and the only books, comic or otherwise, is the latest Nora Roberts (pass) or whatever Wally World has blessed, I’ve had to rely on Cuppa to help me out with some updates, as he is groovy that way. I guess I could order them, but then I see something bright and shiny like plastic zombies and I forget.
Sometimes, I am so 5-years-old.
Spike is back. And that is of the good.
