Before It’s Too Late? Huh?

I’m not feeling very optimistic this morning.

President Bush said Sunday that Iran is threatening the security of the world, and that the United States and Arab allies must join together to confront the danger “before it’s too late.”

Join together for what?

Update: Progressive Nashville says this:

The president has been out moving his lips again and the issue has gone beyond political hucksterism, he’s beating the drum for war.

Read the rest of Jim’s post. Scary stuff.

The sad part is, many Iranian people, at least the ones I know, ARE moderate and don’t like the idea of their country being run by extremists and more than we would.

The intentions of a conflict with Iran would be to cripple its extremist leadership, but if the side effect is that the people who would supposedly elect their replacements are turned against you as well, what have you gained?

There has been so much attention on the political campaigns, that I’m afraid something is going to be snuck in by the current administration.
It’s a scary thing to me, Sadcox.
Your comment is exactly, positively accurate.
