Bobby Knight Resigns Effective Immediately
Is it wrong that I don’t care one iota for Bobby Knight?
Yeah, good coach I guess, but …
Well, let’s just say he’s glamor fits over the years have not made me smitten with him.
His kid is taking over. Hope he’s okay because this seems abrupt but I still don’t dig him.
I have no idea.
Although my gut reaction to Knight is much the same as yours, my sister lives in a small town which is the home town of one of Knight’s Indiana players who went on to the NBA. She knows this fellow (whose grandfather is the town’s Church of Christ preacher) and he’s never had a cross word to say about Knight and could definitely be counted among Knight’s admirers and supporters.
Gaaa. ANd you’re in newspapers? You totally missed the opportunity to title this one “Bobby Knight throws in the chair.” Where’s your sense of humor?
