Ben DiChiara
Bravo has a great deal of reality television shows to choose from. Some of them are pretty darned skippy (unabashed Tim Gunn fan here and I love going here for the snark/love after Project Runway airs.) I guess I started watching Bravo reality television when Queer Eye for the Straight Guy was on, which was fun but faded away rather quickly.
On Make Me A Supermodel, there is this guy from Tennessee.
Nashville, actually.
I didn’t really think about him being from Nashville but I thought I’d throw it out to you. His name is Ben DiChiara.
Buddy TV says this about him:
Twenty-two-year-old Ben of Nashville, Tennessee has been a deputy sheriff correctional officer for the past two years. While in high school, he met his future wife, with whom he has been with for six years.
I think it’s interesting to see folks from Tennessee on reality television that aren’t wrangling chickens or on 60 Minutes talking about the Meth problem because, campers, Tennesseans get stereotyped pretty regularly.
Of course, I can’t remember these reality people about a week after the shows end but there you go.
Now, let’s just cross our fingers that the Writers’ Strike is seriously over (I think it is) because I’m about to get burned out.
In the beginning, there were two from Nashville—one of whom was clearly removed.
I missed the first one. Ben is pretty much a good one to represent Nashville I believe. He seems to be pretty open-minded, learns and seems pretty genuine actually.
I believe that he recently moved to Tennessee. He was born and grew up in Louisiana.
Yea. He’s definitely from Louisiana. He is from New Orleans originally, but spent most of his life here in Baton Rouge. He’s a great guy. Keep him in the game.
I love Ben! and I don’t care where he’s from. Thta’s not what’s important; what is important is that he can model!! he has “the look”, he’s HOT (oh so steaming hot), he’s down to earth, and very funny. So what else do they want? Tyson Beckford has something against Ben..that’s clearly evident on a weekly basis, and in my humble opinion it has hurt Ben terribly. Unfair? you betcha!, but we, the american public will keep voting for Ben to make sure he makes the top 3…it should come down to Ben, Ronnie and Holly…they are by far and away the top talent on that show. Thank you for saying that “clearly Tyson has something against Ben ans it hurts him”. Im such a fan of Ben he is so real and down to earth and NOT HOMOPHOBIC. I whould love to see him in the final three at least.
Did anybody see episode 9 when Ben kissed Ronnie on the mouth hot!
Ben’s cute, but not in pictures. He’s got great eyes and a great nose and physique (bull-doggish though) but what’s up with that mouth?!
