In the history of the music of my city, which includes of the likes of BB King, Bobby Blue Bland, Carla Thomas, Otis Redding, Jerry Lee Lewis, Rufus Thomas, Isaac Hayes, and the guy who has the big house in Whitehaven, I firmly believe the good Reverend is the greatest pure singer memphis has ever produced.
He is truly amazing.
Oh, LWC, yes…
YES!
Have you heard his live version of “A Change Is Gonna Come?”
It’s definitely in the top 10 performances of all time.
Oh it is!
It’s amazing. It might just need to go up as well.
Al Green is the bomb.
His version of “How Can You Mend A Broken Heart” is my favorit e Bee Gees cover of all time.
You know I was gonna go there!
One of my favorites, too.
Auto,
Isn’t it just wonderful.
Ahhh.
