Starting today in California, gay and lesbian couples will be able to take out marriage licenses at 5pm PST. Takei and Altman are just two people out of thousands expected to make their unions equal under the law, as they should be.

I’m sad, though, to see that Tennesseans didn’t discuss this, today.
It’s a monumental, joyous day for equality in California, and hopefully will become Federal Law and override the hate amendment written into our state constitution in 2006.
