    This tune reminds me a lot of this track from one of my personal guilty pleasures of the late ’70s.

    Can’t hear RR, though, without thinking of that first album with Medeski and NMAS. The NPR review of that one cast RR and the Family Band as almost a Christian version of Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan & Party.
