Annoying Autobiographical Pause #999

I am fuming right now because of an injustice done to someone I care about. Instead of typing this jackass’ name over and over again, I’m going to vent about what I’m going to do.

Children deserve better.

If a child asks a question, don’t demean them.

If a child is afraid to ask a question because she is afraid of being called stupid and the adults who love her encouraged her to speak up then you basically call that child stupid, then you deserve nothing but contempt.

That child was my niece.

You see, we remember these things and you sir, are a pathetic piece of waste.

So, you see, when the locals who read this blog ask me who this is, I’m going to tell them exactly what you did to a kid that was wanting to learn and how you embarrassed her for absolutely no reason at all.  And, I’m going to tell them how we encouraged her to talk to you, that you would keep her emotionally safe and when she tried, you didn’t get the job done. And I’m going to tell them how you, in a single swoop, destroyed her confidence.

Yes, we will file the grievance and follow procedure.

But, dude, word-of-mouth is an amazing thing as well. And as the kids at your school call me Aunt Tick, I want you to know, sir, it was me. This isn’t a passive aggressive threat. I’m just venting here. I plan to see you very soon after the proper channels have been taken.

I back up what I say. Don’t doubt it.

If you can’t encourage, I’m sure there is a job in sewage here in Hoots with your name on it.

This is an unfortunate side effect of participating in team sports. Not to defend the coach, but I would recommend you never listen to Bruce Pearl or Pat Summit or Kevin Stallings on the sidelines. Youth coaches too often try to emulate their “heroes” just like young athletes do.

perhaps i should come tell him to “take a lap”

    or ten

calling a young girl stupid for asking a question has got to be one of THE WORST forms of male insecurity i have heard of to date

Give ‘em hell, baby. Normally I ask for more info, but when it’s you, I know the asshat must deserve it. You sound like me lighting into someone and “me” just ain’t you.

Perform smack-down on asshat and feel free to be as nasty as me. Sometimes guys like that only understand one thing, turnabout is fair play.
