Paul Newman Was One Of The Good Guys

Paul Newman died yesterday at 83-years-old.

I cannot tell you how much I admired him. He was not only a great actor but he seemed like a damned decent human being.

These are kind words for him from Newman’s Own Foundation on his legacy.

“Paul had an abiding belief in the role that luck plays in one’s life, and its randomness. He was quick to acknowledge the good fortune he had in his own life, beginning with being born in America, and was acutely aware of how unlucky so many others were. True to his character, he quietly devoted himself to helping offset this imbalance.

He will be missed.

I really hate to hear that. He has been in some of the best movies in history. He aged well and was just a quality human being. He will definitely be missed.

Well Ms Coma, we found something else we can agree on. :)

He was truly one of the class acts, old school style Hollywood. Naturally, I didn’t agree with his politics, but he was a terrific actor and generous of spirit.

Kate, indeed he was. I have to say that he was electric when it came to his acting.

    He was amazing.
