Where are Valerie Harper and Mary Tyler Moore? And Ed Asner for that matter. Bring them back.
i had the most distinct pleasure in the fall of 1988 (holy crap is that 20 years ago??? wow.) to meet with Betty for an extended interview in Knoxville. she was a mere 66 yrs old then, and was so flirty i could barely keep from blushing. i mean, really, it got steamy. she looked me straight in the eye and told me to come to her hotel room later that evening.
by golly, i gave it serious thought. the woman just had this sexual confidence that was, ummm … i’m embarrassing myself again, aren’t i?
such a wicked sense of humor has always been alluring, i guess.
That interview is mild compared to a story I heard her tell about back in the day when she was a young thing…she’s done it in a phone booth, etc… Yeah, she’s one hot mama!
