We Congratulate President-Elect Barack Obama
All day, editorbates, SQ, Beffers, Scout and more have been tracking the polls and we have been watching what’s going on.
McCain went roughly 60-30 here, which, you know, I kinda predicted in juke joints. (I said 65-35 actually.)
They are amazing women. We’ve had a 12-hour day. We are some tired campers.
Congratulations to a new day. We will all talk about it tomorrow when are brains are not so fried.
It’s a brand new day.
With that said, congratulations to the new president elect.
Now we are all going to pass out from exhaustion.
Sleep well. Change is coming.

I have been watching him on TV on his way to win this battle all night long- and I am glad I did: It deeply moves me and my husband to see this change in America happen. What a great moment in history!

To President elect Barack Obama, Joe Biden and Families of you all. We wish to congratulate you for your accomplishment for which you deserve. First to you Sir, I say Sir as I feel it i9s appropiate to call you such. I am an American my wife German, we were both relieved and were so elated when the board I was watching(I watched CNN all night long until my wife woke, she is a teacher, and she was so happy she cried)the election board for the votes, and all of a sudden you had 297 electoral votes WOW, what a landslide. In the past I have lived in the south,Texas that is. When I can get an email address I wish to tell you of an experience in Dallas in 1952. Until then, I want to say this, and do not misconstue what I menn, PLEASE! Please instruct your children you and Joe, not to pick up any boxes, balloons, or teddy bears on the street, they might be bombs. Children are not careless they are care free, and do not know if they pick up something which they feel is something innocent, but very dangerous. During your four years in office, you certainly will have to be surrounded by secret service men, you Joe and both of your familis. You certainly know that, it is for this reason, that General Powell did not want to run. I will end this now, I can only hope you will not chastise me for breaching your privacy. You might answer me one thing, WHERE can we get two tshirts with your name and logo on it, I will be proud to wear it so will my wife.
