I signed up as well. I got some from Munday but not from Chris Song. I tended to get more correspondence during the primary from Padgett's campaign.
I received about three times the amount of press releases from the Republicans on a federal and statewide level. The only real problem I have with The Donkey's Mouth is that it many times during the election year just spit out press releases there without having a distinguished voice from the party. We heard more from Hobbs than we did the TNDP.

You are so right about Dean, dead on.

It does pass the smell test to me. Howard Dean term-limited himself as DNC chair back when he was first elected (the first time that's ever happened, by the way). I have been reminding people on Daily Kos for years, literally, that we weren't going to have Dean around after 2008.

For as much as I read people talking about never hearing from the TNDP, I got regular emails both from Wade Munday and from Chris Song from the Tuke campaign all throughout the election season. I never had enough time to blog about them, or even read them some of the time, but I was getting them. I went to the TNDP blog and signed up, and that was that.

Did you even know that the TNDP had a blog? It seems most people don't.

WHHAATT!!!
I am inclined to agree that a communications director is pretty much key. How would one spread the word if not for media outlets?
Just a thought.
