Blogging The Tennessee Bloggers
I’m dumping some links here this morning because these posts are groovy. Go and enjoy the wonderment of people more creative than I.
- Jane Q. Public – Waverly Sanatorium
Beyond the natural fear that Waverly Hills inspires, Mom and I had a bit of a jolt. While standing in our Lot 37 viewpoint of the building’s façade, there was a bang from within the hospital. Mom and I looked at each other and back at the building. It definitely came from the interior of the structure because it echoed within it.
- David Holt – Throwing my hands in the air
We deserve to lose. We deserve to have lost the state legislature. We don’t deserve to be running much of anything. Locally, my party disgusts me, and I’m done with it.
Don’t get me wrong, I’m still a progressive and a Democrat. But I have WAY BETTER THINGS to do with my time then lift a finger for this disgusting, incompetent organization. - Jim Voorhies – They still don’t get it The Ford jet was one of several jets at Thomasville this past weekend. When your company is going to Congress to ask for billions in guaranteed loans, why not celebrate by taking the corporate jet to go hunting peasants – or was it pheasants – I forget?
- Watching and Listening – Brush and Floss It’s not because I’m a meth addict, had an accident, or any other normal reason a 23-year-old has lost most of her teeth. It’s because I’ve never had dental insurance. And if you think going to a doctor is expensive, try going to a dentist with no insurance. When it’s a toss-up between freezing to death and starving to death, your teeth don’t seem that important. I have sporadic holes where teeth used to be because without insurance, a root canal costs $2,000, and a tooth extraction costs $89. Guess which one I chose.
- Sharon Cobb – I Need Some Help From Tennessee Bloggers If you are a blogger who leans left and can write about politics, or pop culture, beit film, music, art, big foot or whatever, please contact me: MissSharonCobb@aol.com, or preferably, call me. Most of you have my phone number. Now would be a good time to use it.
I can take Bigfoot duties for Sharon if she needs the help.

You might want to check out my blog, I’m in north Knox county.

Mostly about books (especially ebooks, lately), I also talk about bees and our organic farm/garden.
Thank you for the link love and your offer to help means more to me than I can express.
And heck, who doesn’t need a Bigfoot editor!
I’ll know next week (I hope) if I need surgery so hopefully I can let you and a few others know if I need some help while I’m out.
