With a sister who is blind in one eye, a father who can’t hear and myself with perpetual bronchitis who has taken to coughing out her lungs in a melodic effort that makes the dogs run under the bed, I’ve wondered what is to become of us.

I decided we need to start a band.

The name of our band would be One-Eye Deaf Wheezers.

I think our first song would be from Tommy because he sure plays a mean pinball, as that is the industry that my father used to work in.

I think I’m brilliant.

Of course, we all need to learn how to play an instrument first but it’s never stopped us from doing things before.
