In The Moment Of A Crisis …

Posted by newscoma | Posted in Tennessee | Posted on 09-01-2009

When experiencing a crisis (or what you perceive to be a crisis) I can only offer the following examples of what not to do.

  1. Do not scream in a fit of frustration.
  2. Don’t email people calling yourself a rube. (Note I called myself a rube, not you. You are great.)
  3. Don’t stare blankly at the wall.
  4. Do not growl at invisible or stationary objects.
  5. Don’t toss animals at is just bad decorum.

My database went down here at Newscoma. It’s fixed now. I was self sufficient, thank goodness.

I also would advise that having Billy Mays on an ESPN commercial in that background will just make you plum stabby.

Learn from me. (No animals were tossed in this heightened state of the mid-life crazies. The just hid under the bed as they are smart creatures.)

Sharing Is Caring (3)

  1. Oh man sorry to hear that. but I will remember your rules next time I am in crisis. (which is every other hour lately)

  2. Early one morning, I got both that Billy Mays ESPN commercial back to back with an OxiClean commercial. I nearly drove my car into oncoming traffic.

  3. Billy Mays is the reason they invented the mute button – or laryngectomy, I forget which.
