People are insane over there on this. The debate (even the bullshit from the cons) keeps interest up among the grassroots/netroots. That in itself is a good thing for TN Democrats. Tuke and Sasser both promised they were going to pay all sorts of attention to rural TN. It never happened. Forrester won't either. He promised everyone the moon and the stars to win this election, and he's going to be a disaster. The party turned its back on three men that know how to win in rural TN, Bredesen, Tanner, and Davis. I should throw in Gordon, too. And why? This party is finished in Tennessee.
