Aretha Franklin Hat In Hoots

Miss Sherri in her Aretha hat
During my excursions in the nightlife of Hoots, I must show you Miss Sherri and her Aretha Franklin hat. Her husband calls it “that damned hat.” No photo shopping done here, campers.
It’s the real deal and I’m quite smitten with it.
And, of course, paparazzi pictures of my personal chef Dirk Diggler taken when he couldn’t reach me to throw a punch or trip me up. (He wouldn’t throw a punch but he might grab the camera and put it on his big fancy BBQ grill covered in his secret BBQ marinade. And, yes, his barbecue is better than yours.)

The very famous Dirk Diggler of Hoots
There isn’t a lot to do here so we must entertain ourselves.
Now, on to sushi that is not of the ham variety from Hoots, but from Nashville.

Sushi
I’m feeling all affectionate to my hometown today. Shhh.

Awww. Miss Sherri wears the Aretha hat very well.
I gotta stop by The Stable soon.:)
Love the ‘Retha hat. Love the “his BBQ is better than yours” line. Love the sushi pic. But please, please, PLEASE stop reminding me of that ham sushi. You’ve traumatized me all over again.
Some people look awesome in hats. I, on the other hand, do not. Not even a stocking hat.
Looks to me like Hoots is a fine place to live!
Sherri is such a beautiful lady–inside and out!
That is a terrific hat, actual head size. The Aretha one on the hand….well…. Not too many folks can pull off such a hat.
Now everyone will know why we call this place Hoots! With fools wearing hat like this and superb chefs like Dirk Diggler(alias Gator) how could they ever go wrong coming to Hoots!
Where did you go for sushi? Kinda looks like Ru San’s.
1) Gorgeous
2) are you sure that’s not Chris Matthews?
3) mmmmmmm
Wow. Chris Matthews?
I’ve never known the resemblance but I have to say you are dead on.
I always saw him as a land-locked surfer dude. Of course, he’s a BBQ surfer dude, but still … He’s going to kill me.
Jane: Yeppers.
making me miss ya’ll!!
i have GOT to get down there!
