Aliens, Puppies And Attachment
The puppies are already starting to travel. They haven’t gotten too far but they are moving. Pinks is also flitting around as well. After she feeds these little canine zombies, she will run about the house and exercise some, play with the adult dogs and we can’t keep her in food.
The little ones are making more noise as well. One of them did an odd version of a bark last night. It wasn’t really a bark, but some kind of yelping to let us know of her existence. I have a feeling that we will be hearing more of this in the coming weeks. It’s already Dog Central here at Casa Coma.
Pinks doesn’t mind us holding her pups, however, as the Sandlot Gang comes into the house ogling them, Pinks isn’t too happy with that. She tends to guard them from the neighborhood kids. I, of course, am also frightened by the neighborhood kids as they are a pack of children that I believe have some sort of blood pact. They stare at the puppies with an odd sense of glee and I swear their eyes go all silver. Are these children like those in Village of the Damned? Are they aliens?
I’m thinking yes.
Homer tells me not to worry about the Sandlot Gang but I’ve seen more horror movies than she has in recent years as her life has been filled with Disney movies. Note to self: get a crucifix.
Also, second note to self: Do not get attached to puppies! Do not get attached to puppies!!
Dang, if they aren’t cool though.

Do not get attached? What? Sorry to tell you, but you are already attached. I can’t wait to hear about the “parent screenings” I know will be conducted before you let any of these sweet things go. Ha!
It is so ridiculously hard not to get attached. When we lost Annabelle and Max and Rex, I cried so bitterly it wasn’t even funny. I’m so happy I still have Kitty, her funny antics every day give me my daily zen.
yes, the children are aliens. puddles gets the same glassy-eyed look just seeing the pictures on the mac. kinda scary.
do not get attached to puppies?
too late, my friend.
