Cleolinda's m15m recap of "Twilight" (http://community.livejournal.com/m15m/19551.html) is hilarious, as is all her work. And Casey, I think the NCAA should allow crouching, making claw hands and hissing after fouls. March Madness indeed. Both my daughter (11) and my wife (34) love it to bits for some reason and I tried to be good, honest! But, when the bad vampires interrupt the ball game and the standoff resulted in a everyone crouching, making claw hands, and hissing at each other I totally lost it. I just ... couldn't. I tried, really I did. I gave it a tremendous effort. But after 3 chapters I just really hated Bella and didn't like those creepy vampires, either. The whole adolescent Edward/Bella love story thing reminded me of why I hated high school and am very glad I grew up. So thanks for the laugh about the movie because I am quite certain I will never see it, not even on cable. But I sure enjoyed reading about it! “Twilight” was one of our book club selections. JJ Abrams is working on an American version, but i see little way to improve the first film. scary, focused on a 12 year old's viewpoint, it makes Twilight suitable only as comedy. just to note that the best vampire film i’ve seen in the last 10 years is out on DVD now, called Let The Right One In. a very original take on the genre and one of the best movies of 2008 too.
