I finally understand some of what my parents went through when I was a kid. I didn&#039;t really know what was going on then. I think part of it was just because I was a kid and part of it was being shielded from life&#039;s crappiness by my parents. I find myself doing that with my kids, too. They don&#039;t know how bad it really is. They couldn&#039;t understand if they did and they don&#039;t need that weight on their shoulders. It&#039;s ours to bear because were the Growed Ups.</description>
