A Friend Is Gone

Mabel’s friend Larry Kenneth Elam died last night of a blood clot. We always had a good time with him and he liked him some Mabel.
He was a guy that always made people smile.
We saw him about a months ago. He had been diagnosed with cancer. He played with Mabel and he talked about having surgery. You could see he was worried, but he grinned the whole time. He made us grin.
He didn’t make it.
Rest In Peace, friend.

Gosh, you’ve had some very rough times lately. I’m so sorry for your loss. What a beautiful picture to treasure his memory.
I’m so sorry, ‘Coma.
It’s been a real tough few months for ya, hasn’t it Ms Coma. Know you are in my prayers, k?
Condolences to the friends and family of Mr. Elam. I hope you are doing alright.
He was a one-of-a kind guy with a heart of gold and full of generosity. Back in the doo-wah days we had some good times! I could fill pages and pages with stories. A few probably are best left untold. He loved animals and people.God speed, ole friend! You can rest now!
He made it long enough to have a positive effect on some groovy folks I guess. Still, I’m sorry he’s gone. A friend of yours is a friend of mine and all that jazz.
Sorry for your loss, Newsy. It’s always painful when a friend is gone. And I know if he was a friend of Mabel’s, he must have been awesome guy.
