Know what I'm watchin', right now?

Southern Fried Bigfoot, on the Documentary Channel.

How could I NOT drop by to share that?!

Do you get that channel in your travels? Here, it's one of the local PBS channels, at certain times. It will likely repeat.

The car analogy is SO right on. In my NC days I was involved with http://main.nc.us/ It was seen as this indy internet provider for rural Western NC. While we all might cringe at dial-up, this was/is the only option for rural areas to have internet where the budget, much less the cell reception, might be little or even absent. Broadband is the niche now, service is growing and so is the relocation and creation of internet start-ups in WNC.

Every day the internet transforms how I do business and how we access information. There is also a trend to juxtapose a high tech job with a simple rural lifestyle. In Hoots, this quaint life is a marketable commodity with the bonus of a University in town. To live out of the hustle while still accessing it through high speed internet is how you draw in a high quality of life and keep it. You not only open commerce up to new business, existing businesses upgrade their technology too.

Right now I'm having flashbacks to the ditto machine at Hoots Jr. High and that sweet smell of carbon sheets. We are past that. Time to keep moving access to communication forward!
