An Ivory Toothpick

Remember earlier this year when we were talking about raccoon penises.  Well, Kathy T. alerted me to this story of Charles Dicken’s ivory toothpick. (Yes, raccoon penis needles were once used as toothpicks.)

As I have set myself up to be the premier raccoon blogger of this generation (which in Internet terms will most likely be over sometime next week), I would have been remiss to point out the various kinds of toothpicks over the centuries and also the connection with the raccoon.

I wonder if the raccoon appreciates the needle commentary. Probably not, they are just raccoons but still …

    Someone reminded me that we reuse our toothbrush every day so why not a toothpick. Still… gross!
