The Heart Attack

Want to know what it’s like to have a heart attack?
No, me neither, but Jim Information goes into detail today at this blog about how events led up to him being in the hospital in blinding detail. It’s the first of a series of how he found out that he had a heart attack this month.
Luckily, I wake up alive.
The chest pain from the night before is still there. I figure it’s about half as bad as what it was. I convince myself it was the apple I ate and go to work.
Still, I call my doctor and try to get an appointment for that day. She can’t see me, but I make an appointment for Monday. I can’t go first thing in the morning because I have work obligations. We make the appointment for 1:15PM.
Wow. This is what I call blogging. And he quotes Warren Zevon who told David Letterman “Enjoy every sandwich.”
