It’s My Blog Birthday!
Today is the 4th anniversay of Newscoma. In blog years, much like dog years, this blog is most likely on Medicaid. I will be celebrating all day. If you like little old ‘Coma’s home on the web, sign up for the pesky RSS feed, drop a beer in the bucket on the PayPal (which will go towards a Flip so I can show you some of Hoots) or follow me on Twitter. I’m also on Facebook but that’s a political free zone, my friends.
Thanks for visiting over the past four years and I want you to know I truly appreciate you hanging out over the past four.
I’m compiling a Hoots anthology, so if there is a post that you’d like to see go in one of those old-fashioned things made out of paper, leave a comment or a link to the post in the comments. You can help be my editor if you are so inclined.
And, once again, I’m humbled and grateful you and I have gotten to know each other.

a most happy birthday!!
being here waaaay back in the Before Times, at the birth o’ the Coma, for me is what is must have been like back in the day when folks like John W. Campbell walked into the offices of his new job at a li’l sci-fi magazine (which pretty much shaped huge portions of the American mind) and how he and a world of writers began to meet and take chances and write and publish something unique. so yeah, that’s what i think the future holds now for us pioneer bloggers: vast mythic histories and ideas will surround our feats and us, way more than money does. but we’re right, so, that’s fairly satisfying.
