Deep Thoughts By Coma

For political junkies, these two lines are a constant because sometime it just doesn’t seem worth it. They same thing could be said for writers, bloggers, musicians, teachers, artists and the list goes on. It’s easy to lose our way because there is very little positive given and instead resistance, and sometimes from the people whom we love and care about.
Don’t get me wrong, there are times that I wish I had gone into something a hell of a lot more lucrative. Is feral cat wrangling a career option?
I talk to a lot of people. I try to make sure that we aren’t parroting each other? I have a bi-monthly standing meeting with a republican friend of mine (who is more of an Eisenhower sort of person but we are still going to cancel each others’ votes out, I assure you, but we do have conversations and we agree on more than you would think.). I meet more folks that don’t think like me than do. I realize I am the minority at this period of time.
I always go back to that we need more conversations where people are talking to each other, even if they are different. And I also believe that we have to just keep on working despite the resistance.
It isn’t easy though, campers.
