The Olympics

If there is one thing I know about the Olympics is that it is supposed to bring the world together.

I can only get NBC. My satellite dish doesn’t have its’ sister stations. And, although I appreciate the sport, volleyball isn’t always my favorite sport.

I started thinking about this. What news and sundry things am I not getting?

If I don’t get boxing and basketball, there will be hell to pay, people. HELL TO PAY. It may just be whining but dammit, I will whine.

And, Matt, go home.

    we missed saber. and team archery. and no telling what all else. but we got to see water polo, which is just not my thing.

    Have you seen the NBC Delayed Twitter feed? http://www.twitter.com/nbcdelayed

    Now, I actually understand why they think they need to time-shift, to try to put things in front of the biggest audience. But I think that strategy is going to become less and less effective as technology gives us more and more opportunity to find out results before NBC gets ready to show us the events. Anyway, the Twitter feed is pretty funny.
